Walking On Water
Way back when, the man himself, Jesus, was the first person ever known to attempt and succeed the "Walking On Water" stunt. For hundreds of years there were no known further accounts of any "Walking On Water" events - and perhaps not surprisingly because any person who showed even the slightest tendency to float was quickly accused of being a witch and subsequently drowned or burned at the stake. In more modern and enlightened times however, the phenomena of "Water Walking" is once again making headlines, and due to the advent of the photographic camera this strange event has been captured on film proving that "Walking On Water" is no longer the domain of gods or religious figures - in fact, even animals have been caught practicing this awesome feat.
Following are a few established requirements necessary to Walk On Water:
1 - Extreme fear:
This certainly offers the basic motivation and skills necessary to "Walk On Water" for impressive distances.
2 - Fear of water:
Doing everything possible to avoid "Getting Wet" will help get you started.
3 - Water Ballet:
Due to a deep seated psychological need to prove that Water Ballet is not a waste of time and should be considered a real sport, some water ballerinas have gone to such extreme lengths to get noticed that they have actually achieved a temporary "Walking On Water" moment. Taking water ballet lessons gets you wet but will improve your water walking skills although the media might not take your achievments seriously and friends and family may ignore you.
4 - Stupidity:
A complete failure to recognize that water is soft (and of course, wet) will help you achieve significant yardage over the water's surface - in this case try to keep going and just don't look down.
Since this is still such a rare phenomena, our pictures are few, but you can be sure we will be adding to this gallery just as soon as we can locate and post other examples of "Walking On Water" |
